Photography is my passion but my interest in cooking goes beyond the number of years I have been working behind the camera. I have been experimenting with food since school days, I have tried recipes from mom’s diary and added my own touch by mixing with spices. I cook both day to day Pakistani dishes as well as experiment with pastas and salads!

Ingredients:

Marination      
  • Finger Fish (3 fillets cut into pieces)
  • Salt ½  tsp
  • Pepper ½  tsp
  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce ½ tsp
Batter for Coating
  • Self raising flour (1 cup)
  • Salt  1 tsp
  • Pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Pinch of soda
  • Cold Water - enough to make a smooth paste with light consistency
 

Instructions:

Marination

  • Mix all ingredients and coat it on fish and marinate for an hour.

Batter for Coating  

  • Mix the ingredients well to form a batter

Frying

  • Dip pieces of fish into the batter and shallow fry on medium flame.
  • I prefer salt and peper fish with potato wedges & mayonnaise
