Its almost the last ashra of Ramazan and you must be quite full of having fried snacks in your Iftar. It’s time to move on to some healthier snacks and give your poor stomach some rest. Here are three ways in which you can whip up some yummy and healthy sandwiches:

Cheese- Mayo Sandwich

 Ingredients:

  • Bread
  • Mayonnaise
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Tomatoes
  • Salt Black pepper
  • Parsley

Method

  • Take a piece of bread
  • Cut a circle from the middle with the help of a glass
  • Spread Mayonnaise over the bread
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top
  • Place a slice of tomato
  • Season with salt and black pepper
  • Garnish with some parsley leaves

Avocado Sandwich:

Ingredients:

  • Brown Bread
  • Avocado
  • Lemon Citrus
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Boiled eggs
  • Tomatoes

Method:

  • In a bowl combine Avocado lemon citrus, salt, black pepper and olive oil to make a paste
  • Cut your brown bread into two triangular halves
  • Layer with the Avocado paste
  • Place slices of boiled egg and tomatoes on top

Bologna & Cottage Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • Bread
  • Bologna
  • Cottage Cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • tomato
  • lettuce leaves

Method

  • On a slice of bread spread some mayonnaise
  • fold a piece of bologna and place on top, similarly place a piece of lettuce
  • place a slice of tomato and cottage cheese on top
  • secure with a toothpick.
