We Pakistanis are a nation of tea lovers and good tea is what gets our day rolling. There is one particular place in the capital that probably offers the best chai in Islamabad. We’re talking about the Chai Chowk in F-11 Markaz. Situated in F-11 Markaz  this little cafe is the place to be for chai lovers in the city. When it comes to tea, chai chowk has it all figured out. The interior is nice and cozy with board games available for you to enjoy while you sip your tea.

What makes their tea so special you ask? Well, for one none of it is brewed from  tea bags or local tea brands. The tea at chai chowk is made from loose tea leaves imported straight from Sri Lanka and is blended to create the unique flavors that are characteristic only to Chai Chowk. There isn’t much option when it comes to food, but they offer homemade cookies and a really delicious Borek. Their  brownie with ice-cream is absolutely yummilicious as well.

Their prices range from 150-400rs, which is a bit expensive for tea but we can spend a bit on our favorite drink once in a while. So next time when you’re craving a really good cup of tea we highly recommend that you visit Chai Chowk.

Ever since I was a kid, eating has been a hobby. Once I grew up, I started stepping into the kitchen more often. Although I love to cook everything but baking is something I am very passionate about. Its my therapy and it definitely takes me to my happy place. Ofcourse, this hobby of mine also caters to my hyper sweet tooth as well, which is an added bonus. Because baking is something that I have learnt from my mother so it has a very emotional value for me. Since times immemorial I have seen my mom experiment with baking in the kitchen, I like to believe she has passed that skill on to me as well (I know i can never surpass her awesomeness).
