Steak for me is the ultimate food. Nothing beats a hot, sizzling steak dinner. If you’re going out for one, make sure you get the best in town. Check out our list of the 5 best steakhouses in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. They all serve mouth-watering steaks with love and care, and will be sure to make you visit them time and time again.

Texas Steak House (Rawalpindi and Islamabad)

It can be said that Texas Steak House (Rawalpindi Saddar) introduced Rawalpindi to delicious, mouth-watering steaks. After it’s success, they opened up another location in Islamabad’s Sector E-7. Their juicy Sizzling Mexican Beef Steak, and the sauces that come with it, are to die for. The steaks here are always cooked to perfection — fork tender. The portion sizes are big, and the whole experience is great value for money. Their Marshall Steak, a grilled steak half topped with mushroom sauce  and pepperoni sauce, is one of their most popular. The Texas Fire Steak is our personal favorite; a grilled beef steak served with sizzling, spicy garlic herb butter!

Bull Steak House (Rawalpindi)

Bull Steak House is one of the most popular spots for steaks in Rawalpindi. The best steaks here are easily their beef options. Overall, it’s a good place for eating quality food, and offers other items as well. Well-cooked steaks are served by a friendly staff, and the eatery sees a lot of regular customers. Their Stuffed Chicken Burger and Twin Steak are their most ordered mains. So if you’re in the mood for a good meal, make that reservation today!

Fijji’s Grill (Islamabad)

Fijji’s Grill is a somewhat low-key restaurant. Once you visit it however, it’s sure to win you over. Their Black Pepper Steak (beef), Special Chicken Steak, Chicken Supreme and Fish and Chips are some of their popular specials. What stands out for me is their Fijji’s Special Steak; a grilled fillet with olives, mushrooms, and cheesy sauce. If you’re having something of a desi craving, then I suggest their Smoked BBQ Steak; it’s a grilled steak topped with spicy, smoked BBQ sauce.

American Steakhouse, Islamabad

If you want a really good steak, this is the right place. Their ambiance is cozy and their steaks juicy. They have great service and a wide variety of steaks to choose from. Their Pepper Steak and Mushroom Soup is served with three kinds of potatoes (baked, mashed, fried) and grilled vegetables. Their larger Hunter Steak at is a must try; it’s a simple  grilled steak topped with juicy pepper sauce and served with crispy fries.

Jason’s Steak House (Islamabad)

Jason’s Steak House is on this list for being one of the very few restaurants serving quality steaks. It’s decor and ambiance are great, with courteous service. Some of their specials include the succulent New York Strip Loin and Fillet Minion alongside Prawn with Mango and Radish Salad. Jason’s gives off the feeling of an old smoker’s lounge. There’s even a beer selection.

I highly recommend Jason’s Rib-Eye Steak; a beef steak cut from the rib section and coated with sizzling sauce.
