‘The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’, a phrase that speaks a generic truth. Every time I prepare something special at home, my husband is happy; it is simple as that.

While when it comes to masala rice (spicy rice), it may sound simple to prepare but the dish itself is special. The simple ingredients which are handy in almost every household and you don’t have to rush out to get something. The rice I used are from Narowal, its long grain makes it a sight for sore eyes when they ready to eat. Masala rice is also a delectable treat for rest of the family members, Particularly the elders who like to keep it light as it’s not heavy on the stomach.

Perfect for times when you want to fix something quick for a light meal.
